This creates a fantastic opportunity for every Local Authorities that strives to develop communities through sustainable solutions. Not only will Green Deal help the most vulnerable householder’s improve the thermal values of their homes, but reduce fuel poverty at a national level and fight climate change head on.
Yorkshire Energy Services are keen to work with Local Authorities and public sector partners to implement area based initiatives that support the Green Deal framework. Particularly assisting in attracting Energy Company Obligation (ECO) for the Carbon and Affordable Warmth elements of the scheme. ECO
Sitting under the umbrella of Green Deal is ECO – the Energy Company Obligation. ECO is essentially a funding stream collated from all major utility companies to back critical energy conservation projects for hard to teat households in vulnerable communities.
Yorkshire Energy Services’ new delivery subsidiary: YES Projects, can help access ECO funding and help Local Authorities and Housing Associations facilitate a program of delivery covering a wide range of installation services.
