YES to speak at NEA Fuel Poverty Conference

Andrew Herbert, Chief Executive of Yorkshire Energy Services will be speaking at the annual NEA Fuel Poverty Conference in Scarborough this week.

The three day event, held at the Scarborough Spa complex during the 15th – 17th of September, will bring together hundreds of industry professionals to share knowledge on this critical issue which affects more than 1 in 10 households in England.

Andrew will be delivering a keynote presentation which will provide insight into the world of Government funding for home efficiency improvements and how policy adjustments impact the fuel poor.

His speech will highlight the recent modifications to Energy Company Obligation (ECO) programme, the Government’s latest initiative designed to support vulnerable homeowners with their energy saving requirements.

Over 300 key decision makers have been confirmed to attend the conference, many of whole will be looking for new approaches to tackle fuel poverty on a local and national scale.

The event will cover the following major topics:
